This year is especially meaningful because 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the United States. Many communities are making their celebrations bigger, brighter, and more involved, with special America 250 themes, commemorative programming, concerts, drone shows, and expanded fireworks displays.
Ball Ground, GA Fireworks

Ball Ground will host its annual Fireworks and Concert in the Park on Sunday, June 28.
Event time: 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Entertainment: Fly Betty Band
Fireworks: Typically begin around 9:45 p.m.
Bring your chairs, blankets, and festive spirit for an evening of live music and fireworks in Ball Ground.

Woodstock, GA Fireworks

The City of Woodstock will host its July 4th Spectacular 2026: Woodstock Celebrates America 250, with a full day of Independence Day activities and special red, white, and blue theming in honor of the country’s 250th anniversary.
Freedom Run: 7:00 a.m.
Start the day with the Woodstock Freedom Run, featuring race options for runners of different ages and experience levels.
Parade: 10:00 a.m.
The annual July 4th Parade begins at Woodstock Elementary School, travels down Rope Mill Road, continues south on Main Street, and ends near Sam’s Club at Highway 92.
Festival: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
After the parade, head to The Park at City Center for food vendors, arts and crafts, kids’ activities, music, carnival games, inflatables, bubble making, and a huge foam party.
Fireworks: Dusk
The fireworks show will be launched behind the Lowe’s Shopping Center on Highway 92 near I-575.
Bonus Woodstock America 250 Event:
Woodstock will also host a free Georgia Symphony Orchestra America 250 Concert on Friday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodstock Arts Event Green in Downtown Woodstock. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., and advance reservations are required through Woodstock Arts.

Canton, GA Fireworks
Saturday, July 4, 2026
The City of Canton will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States with its Small Town Cool 4th of July celebration.
Parade: 6:00 p.m.
The parade will take place around the Riverstone Plaza block.
Concert: 7:30 p.m.
Enjoy live music at the Riverstone Plaza Shopping Center.
Fireworks: 9:30 p.m.
Fireworks will be launched from Etowah River Park.
Please note that Canton has announced new locations for the parade route and fireworks launch site. A map with the best fireworks viewing locations is expected to be shared closer to the event date.

Stone Mountain Park
July 1–6, 2026
Stone Mountain Park’s Fantastic Fourth Celebration runs July 1–6, 2026. This year’s celebration includes the new 250th Celebration Drone & Light Show, beginning nightly at 9:30 p.m., followed immediately by fireworks.
Tickets are required for the light show and fireworks during the Fantastic Fourth Celebration, and Stone Mountain Park recommends arriving early, especially on July 4.

Callaway Gardens
July 3–5, 2026
Callaway Gardens will host its July 4th Star-Spangled Beach Party from July 3–5, 2026. The weekend celebration includes beach activities, live entertainment, family-friendly fun, and nightly fireworks.
