Nicole is the founder of the Facebook Group, CCSD Positivity Vibes #CCSDUnited, supporting Cherokee County School staff & faculty. CCSD Positivity unites to spread gratitude and bring smiles to those interfacing with our students.
| What is your cause or company working to do? |
| The group was created because so many were struggling with the decision between Digital Learning and Face to Face. After I began seeing the arguments on social media and the national news coverage, I felt something had to be done. I could not imagine the extra stress our schools were feeling under the constant scrutiny. It was time to show them we are grateful for their work. After the seed was planted, the community support has been incredible. Since inception, this group has left positive messages, delivered lunches to every school in the county, dropped gift baskets to various schools, collected extra monitors for digital learning teachers, sent gift cards, and monetary donations to fund needed items. If a need from a school in our CCSD family arises, CCSD Positivity Vibes is here to help. |
