Roswell is a sought after destination with its prime location on the northern banks of the Chattahoochee River, only minutes to downtown Atlanta. Roswell trails also join the Chattahoochee River National Park Recreation Area via the beautiful Vickery Creek Covered Pedestrian Bridge trail. The Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell features 127 acres of native plants and gardens along the Chattahoochee River.

Roswell is a top location for its arts, educational and career opportunities, offering nationally-ranked public schools as well as top private schools and satellite university options for higher education, as well as quick access to top universities in Atlanta. The Roswell Cultural Arts Center is a 600-seat performing and visual arts center, offering a diverse program of music, dance, puppetry, plays, pageants and events.

Describe A Perfect Day in Roswell?

A visit to the waterfall and historical ruins at the Roswell mill, where I would make sandcastles by the river with my children while my husband got some fishing in. Historical Roswell is just down the street from the mill, where we would grab some lunch on one of the patios of the many local restaurants and peruse through the boutique shops. After lunch, we may head up to North Point Mall for some more shopping and a ride on the carousel, or if the weather is good we could swing by the Chattahoochee Nature Center for a short hike and some animal encounters. In the evening we’d relax over dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants around town.
